The Poznan University of Technology as a member of the Polish Metrological Union

The Polish Metrological Union (PMU) launched its activities in Lublin during the National Forum for the Integration of Polish Metrology. Among the core activities of the union are the organization of seminars, symposiums, conferences and congresses. The founders of PMU met today at the Lublin University of Technology. The meeting was attended, among others, by prof. Teofil Jesionowski, the rector of the Poznan University of Technology, a number of representatives of Polish universities, scientific institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Łukasiewicz Research Network.

The cooperation in the electromobility with the Delik company

The cooperation will concentrate on undertaking joint research activities, actions focused on the improvement of the study programmes, employees training, and internships for students of Electromobility. Prof. Wojciech Szeląg, Dean of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering, signed a letter of intent with Jan Delik, founder and co-owner of Delik company, an authorized representative of the KIA brand.

Be ECO with US International Scientific Conference

Ladies and gentlemen,

Ecology and environmental protection are the crucial aspects of university activities in Poland. More and more students and doctoral students undertake research and work in this field. Therefore, we invite the academic community to participate in the Be ECO with US International Scientific Conference. The conference will be held on November 19-21, 2021, in the assembly hall of the University of Szczecin (ul. Krakowska 71-79, Szczecin).

Our employees with success during ECML PKDD 2021

On September 13-17, 2021, the most significant European conference in the field of machine learning - the European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases was held in the virtual form in Bilbao, Spain. Among over 1000 participants, the largest group from Poland was a group of scientists from the Institute of Computing Science and students of the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications of the Poznan University of Technology (9 participants).
